About the AEL campaign
At the AEL, we are concerned about the health risks associated with vaping and nicotine addiction. That’s why we are proud to partner with Department of Health and Aged Care, raising awareness within the gaming and esports community about the dangers of vaping and promoting healthier choices through our ‘You’ve got no game, when you vape’ campaign.
AEL Director, Darren Kwan, highlighted the importance of this partnership in fostering a positive message for young gamers:
“As leaders in the esports space, we’re dedicated to promoting not only skill and competition but also the wellbeing of the next generation of gamers. Vaping undermines both physical and mental performance. We want young gamers to thrive, and that starts with making informed, healthy decisions.”
Esports is all about pushing limits, teamwork, and endurance – qualities that are directly compromised by vaping. AEL’s mission is to empower gamers to be at their best, on and off the screen, by educating them on the real harms of vaping.
It’s important to know the facts. Understanding the risks and harms of vaping can help you make informed decisions about your health. We’ve gathered this information for you to keep in mind and share with your friends to spread awareness.
