The Tournament
2020 AECL Online
The Australian Esports Clubs League Online is a free to participate inter-club online competition available to all members of the following clubs:
- Campbelltown Catholic Club, NSW
- C.ex Coffs, NSW
- Currumbin RSL, QLD
- DOOLEYS Lidcombe, NSW
- Hervey Bay RSL, QLD
- Lismore Workers Club, NSW
- Nerang RSL, QLD
- Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemen’s Club, NSW
- Southport Sharks, QLD
Everyone who competes will be eligible to compete in the 2020 AECL Grand Final event. The Winners will receive a gift voucher for their club as well as an advance placement in the Grand Final event!
Format
Competition will play over eight weeks featuring Super Smash Bros. Ultimate & Tekken 7
Participants will fight through a double elimination bracket each week to accumulate points.
The player with the most points at the end of the 8 week period will be named the winner!

Tekken 7
Join in the 1 v 1 Tekken 7 tournament today, available on PS4.
When:
Every Tuesday starting October 13th until November 30th from 6:30pm
Registrations close each Tuesday at 6pm
Prizes:
All prizes will be in Club gift vouchers
1st: $200
2nd: $100
3rd: $50
The top 4 will also earn advance placement in the Grand Finals Event
Super Smash Bro’s Ultimate
Join in the 1 v 1 SSBU tournament today, available on Nintendo Switch.
When:
Every Monday starting October 12th until December 1st from 6:30pm
Registrations close each Monday at 6pm
Prizes:
All prizes will be in Club gift vouchers
1st: $200

3rd: $50
The top 4 will also earn advance placement in the Grand Finals Event

Is the AECL Online open to anyone?
In order to participate you must be a member of one of the clubs listed above.
How many players can register?
There is no limit to how many can participate, so feel free to sign-up today and invite some friends along as well!
The games you've chosen are amazing, but what if I play something else?
Never played Smash or Tekken and think you may actually like it? Don’t be afraid. Sign up anyway. We won’t judge.
In the future we may have other games on offer, follow our socials to hear about any future tournaments.
And exactly how does one win AECL Online?
It’s a numbers game.
Players will compete for points depending on their placement each week. The players with the most points at the end will be declared the winners.
